Terms & Conditions
The Farmlands Over the Fence Panel is operated by Yabble on behalf of Farmlands Co-operative Society Limited (Farmlands).
The Panel is an invitation only membership for Farmlands Shareholders.
Membership is conditional upon acceptance and compliance with the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this document. The submission of the online registration survey constitutes the member’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Farmlands reserves the right to vary the specifications, rates, rewards, rules and conditions of any element of the Farmlands Over the Fence Panel at any time without notice. Farmlands reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions by providing 30 days’ notice on the https://overthefence.yabblezone.net website.
Conditions of Membership
Farmlands reserves the right to terminate the membership of individuals who violate the following conditions of membership:
- An individual may only apply for one membership
- An individual must not join nor use the Farmlands Over the Fence Panel on behalf of another individual
- An individual must be contactable by email or phone, and attempt to complete at least one survey within a 12 month period to remain an active member
- Any other reason deemed inappropriate in the reasonable opinion of Farmlands.
Prize Draws
By participating in prize draws, you agree to have your name published via email in the instance that you are a winner. Only first names and town/city of residence will be published.
To be eligible for the prize draws you must have completed a survey or other panel activity. The draw will take place at Yabble (on behalf of Farmlands) at the end of each survey.
Employees or immediate family members or flatmates of employees of Yabble, Farmlands and their subsidiaries and agencies will not be eligible for the prize draw. Winners will be notified, and prizes will be awarded in the form of a prezzy card physical merchandise or voucher (payments will not be redeemable as cash). All prizes must be claimed within two months of original notification being sent by Yabble. In the event that any prizes remain unclaimed after that time, the prize will be forfeited and a new prize winner drawn. Some prize draws will have additional terms and conditions that you will agree to by entering the specific prize draw.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our panel website. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information about our websites use by means of cookies, which are stored on users’ computers. The information generated relating to our website is used to create reports about the use of the website. Google will store this information. Consent and Privacy Collection Notice
Consent to Emails
The Farmlands Over the Fence Panel is an online community designed to ensure shareholders have their say on the future of Farmlands. The survey elements of the community are managed on Farmlands behalf by Yabble . Once you register for participation, you’ll be taken to a short profiling survey so we can get to know you. By registering your interest to join the Over the Fence Panel, you are consenting to receiving regular emails about what’s happening in the community. These emails will invite you to participate in online surveys and in some instances may send you directly to surveys.
Opting Out
You can leave Over the Fence Panel at any time by sending an email to voc@farmlands.co.nz and inserting the words “Request Removal” in the subject line, or by following the link to unsubscribe that will be present in every email sent to you as a member of the panel community. If you unsubscribe, we take reasonable steps to de-identify personal information you have previously provided to us.
Use
- Contact details: We only use your contact details for the purposes of the Over the Fence Panel. We won’t use your contact details to send you marketing or other survey material.
- Survey responses: We use your survey responses for market research purposes only. We won’t use personal information provided in survey responses for marketing purposes or other commercial purposes.
We combine the information provided in survey responses to produce “aggregated survey results”, and these results do not identify any individual, but will be used in market.
Disclosure
Unless Farmlands/Yabble is required by law to act otherwise (e.g. under a court order), we will only disclose the personal information of panel members as follows:
- Contact details: If you enter a competition and win a prize, by entering the competition you have given your consent to publish your first name and region in our regular updates. Otherwise, we will not disclose the identity of panel members.
- Aggregated survey results: Aggregated survey results are used by Farmlands for its own research purposes. Farmlands may share aggregated survey results with its related companies, suppliers and customers. These results do not identify individuals and contain no contact information.
Access
You have rights to seek access to personal information that we hold about you. To make a request please email privacy@farmlands.co.nz or call 0800 200 600 and outline your request.
Changes to the Farmlands Over the Fence.
Consent and Privacy Collection Notice: Farmlands/Yabble may, from time to time, review and update this Consent and Privacy statement to take account of new laws and technology and changes to Farmlands operations. All personal information will be governed by the most recent Farmlands Consent and Privacy statement.

Please note that the Farmlands Privacy Policy below should not be read as expanding any of the uses or disclosures described above. The Farmlands Privacy Policy explains how Farmlands handles personal information in a broader range of circumstances than those that are relevant to the Farmlands Over the Fence panel. Farmlands /Yabble confirms that it collects, uses, discloses and handles personal information provided by Farmlands Over the fence members for market research purposes only. Farmlands collects and treats all personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.
